We are looking for a VP Sales EMEA

The VP Sales EMEA is responsible for delivering new business (ARR) from both existing and new customers through a team of Sales Managers and Sales Engineers. The VP Sales primary role is to lead, manage and inspire their team to deliver at or above the new business target plan for the region on a consistent basis. The VP Sales EMEA reports to the SVP Global Sales in Stockholm.

As a part of Specops Software you will be bringing new business (within EMEA) to Specops through net new customers, cross sell to existing customers and add-on licenses to existing customers.

You are responsible for delivering revenue growth in your region and achieving or exceeding your regional plan. Ensure the team has a hunting/closing skill set while building relationships throughout the region and customer base. You will ensure the team is performing with high activity levels and high conversion/win rates and personally be involved in key/large deals to ensure they are won. You will need to be entrepreneurial and identify new ways to succeed and drive growth while building a long-term growth strategy for the region.

Extent of responsibilities:

·     Manage team of 9 people.

·     Hire / fire.

·     Participate in the global sales and marketing management team.

·     Responsible for the business plan and strategic direction for the region.

·     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

·     Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in software sales environment.

·     2 – 5 years’ experience as a sales manager for a smaller SaaS (ACV driven) company.

·     Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic.

·     Demonstrated success in building and managing a high-performance and proactive sales organization.

·     Solid verbal and written communication skills, executive presence, and judgement.

·     Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

·     Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills.

·     Pragmatic proactive, integrity and strong ethics
