THE COMPANY

Vidispine continues to grow globally and are now looking for a Test Leader to be a part of Vidispines journey. Today they have bits and pieces related to QA and testing. Now Vidispine need you which can tie it all together and create a common and feasible testing strategy for both the company as well as individual customer projects.

You will be responsible for creating the process for testing in all three product teams and in the future for recruiting new testers to be a part of the test team at Vidispine.

THE TEST LEADER ROLE

• Create and implement a QA framework for Vidispines core products with a goal of automating as much as possible and to be used in individual customer projects
• Hands-on testing on all levels according to the framework you created
• Automate everything that can be automated
• Be operationally responsible for tools and frameworks used in testing and QA
• Educate the rest of the organization on QA and testing
• Work in close cooperation with all teams to achieve your goals
• Work with customers in all parts of the world

VIDISPINE ARE LOOKING FOR

A person who can explain the differences between test, verification and validation.
You are not afraid to express new ideas, and want to lead and educate developers, and managers, within the big world of QA. You are passionate about QA/testing, CI and have experience from several big testing frameworks.
To be successful in this role we think that you don’t have any problem with rolling up your sleeves and do actual manual test case execution of necessary. You like to take responsibility and clearly communicate with the rest of the organization.

We think you have:

-       Bachelor in computer science degree or similar education

-       At least 3 years experience of testing

-       Experience in Gherkin, Jenkins, Selenium

-       Have been working with agile testing and methodologies
