We are looking for a Business Analyst to AFRY Group IT

The role as Business Analyst is part of our Finance, Legal & Sustainability team at AFRY Group IT (it is not a consultancy role). We are proud of our collaborative work environment and truly diverse team in terms of competencies, gender, and nationalities.

Now we are looking to expand the team with an experienced Business Analyst who will be part of our agile development team maintaining and developing integrations and applications within the area Finance, Legal and Sustainability.

As a Business Analyst you have a central and coordinating role, where you together with stakeholders and close with your team work to enable the best IT solutions. You are a liaison between the business and the IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Understand the business and users to ensure that the applications meet their requirements.

·     Analyze business needs and break them down into requirements for IT systems, environments, integrations, etc.

·     Plan the work and conduct workshops, capture, analyze, document, and prioritize the business requirements.

·     Be involved in the development team's delivery and coordinate both acceptance tests and communication together with the business.

·     Help the business understand the technology platform and application landscape.

·     Establish and develop good relationships with various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

We believe that the right candidate for this role has at least five years of experience working as a Business Analyst or requirements analyst, serving as a link between business and IT. In addition to this we are looking for someone who have:

·     Good knowledge of different methods, models, and tools within the business analyst area.

·     Experience working in agile development teams.

·     Experience of working with integrations towards SaaS-solutions.

·     Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

·     University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

We are looking for someone who has experience in and wants to continue working with requirements analysis and requirements management, and has previously worked with being the liaison between business and IT.

As a person, you are communicative, positive, and curious. You have a lot of drive and a positive attitude. You are passionate about making things happen and you also understand that both details, quality, structure, and flexibility are necessary.

You also have an analytical ability, while being able to see the big picture, and are structured in your way of working. The role requires you to see solutions rather than problems, and it is therefore important that you find it easy to collaborate with others and have a pragmatic approach.
