We’re looking for a business minded Group CIO for Certego Group

A leading Nordic provider of complete security solutions and industrial lock operations.

To thrive and be successful in this role, you have profound knowledge of the IT domain and a strategic view on IT in combination with the ability to roll up the sleeves and work operationally. You know how to digitize and consolidate businesses in a multi-country context and how to achieve leading IT accessibility and information security. The Group CIO governs Certego’s IT architecture, IT security, and IT processes. You own our digital workplace, our Microsoft landscape and our infrastructure. You drive the development in these areas to ensure we are in top shape, and you make sure our outsourced services meet business needs. To be successful, you work closely with leaders, business stakeholders, and key suppliers in the Nordic countries. You are also part of our customer solutions set up to secure we deliver solid, competitive and secure customer solutions.

Initial activities will be to complete a carve out from ASSA ABLOY IT, to implement and manage the IT Operating model (governance, process, sourcing, organization), to support the ongoing Group ERP implementation, to consolidate IT across the group, and to establish the IT roadmap supporting CERTEGO’s plans for growth, operational excellence, and profitability. We expect to acquire several businesses and to incorporate these into our business processes and IT landscape. You will establish ways of working and business support for GDPR compliance and continue establishing the security first culture.

You will lead a team of 5-7 people across the Nordic countries. We as a company are definitely in transformation, which require a person that is ready for change. You report to Group CEO Lars Nilsson and are a member of his Group Management Team.

The Group CIO can be placed in either of the Nordic capital cities, but preferred location is Stockholm or Västerås. As we have a distributed organization you should expect to travel up to 1-2 days per week.

About you:

Experienced IT leader with approx. 10 years in relevant leading positions

Subject matter expert in several of these areas

Infrastructure and application architecture

cyber security

information security and GDPR

ITIL (or similar service delivery model)

Microsoft 365 platform

ERP for mid-size business (Microsoft Business Central or similar)

Project management

BSc degree or similar in relevant field

Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages – Danish, Norwegian, Swedish. Finnish language skills are a merit.

Strong communication skills

Capable to manage virtual teams across Nordics.
