Head of IT

We are building a brand new IT department at Funnel and are looking for an experienced Head of IT to join us in our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.

Why is this role interesting?

You will be responsible for building up our internal IT function. Your responsibility will range from contracts and relationships with vendors to application ownership globally. This is a great opportunity if you are motivated by building an IT department from scratch, using the latest technology, implementing supporting functions, and ensuring that IT operations run smoothly with a blend of cloud providers.

The type of skills and experience you need/Previous Experience:

-         Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial position such as Head of IT

-         Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support and managing internal IT

-         Experience working with a variety of cloud products such as Google Workspace, Hubspot and Asana

-         Previous experience of client management. Today we use Apple Macbooks, Iphone and Android devices

-         Relevant experience of execution of IT operations programs

-         Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity

-         Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands

-         Prestige-less and pragmatic approach towards problem solving

-         Excellent written and spoken English

What type of jobs will you do/Key responsibilities?

●      Coach your team in their daily work

●      Develop a service oriented and outstanding internal IT function and collaboration culture.

●      Develop and implement a long term IT-operation strategy for Funnel.

●      Responsibility for key vendor relations, procurement and life cycle management.

●      Build and lead Funnel’s global IT helpdesk function.
