My name is Katarina Åkerman and I lead the Technology Security Services team at Telia Company.
I look for excellent Security Specialists that will interpret, visualize, describe and implement security requirements in our organizational units. Together with other security experts, you will support the organization to achieve a high level of security maturity in processes, systems, infrastructure – and - people. You will face challenges on many different levels and shall connect our present with new demands to enable us to move into the future – Next Generation Telco.

Who are you?

We look for a person whose main role will be to support Global and Group Function Services & Operations organizational units with Security expertise. You will cover the whole security area with specific focus on Cyber Security and Security Compliance in all its forms. To be successful, you should have a good understanding of Security Management and Strategy as well as a broad understanding of Security in technical platforms. Interaction and communication with all sorts of stakeholders and users is essential. The ultimate goal is to establish the mind-set that security is a part of everyone’s daily work. It shall be easy to implement and maintain secure ways of working.

Your Experience:

• You have at least five years’ experience in the Security field and a relevant University degree.You have in-depth knowledge of Security and it is an advantage if you have a certification like CISSP, CISM or CISA. It is also beneficial if you have experience working with ISO27001, GDPR and ISAE 3402.
  
  
• You understand both legacy IT and Telecom technology stacks and are by nature interested in emerging technologies and new ways of working.
  
  
• You have worked in complex settings, in a multi-national organization or as a consultant in demanding situations mastering implementation of processes and procedures in complex technologies with people with varying security mind-set and attitude.
  
  
• You are fluent in both writing and communicating in English. You are at ease in explaining, communicating and discussing complex matters with audiences with varying backgrounds and interests.
  
  
• You have a citizenship from a Nordic country, i.e. Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. Security Screening will be a part of the recruitment process.
