Information Manager

BillerudKorsnäs operates in a highly automated industry and is taking the next step with digitalization as one identified focus area. New ways to meet our customer and a growing service offering also drives the need for digital transformation. Our current IT architecture serves as a stable platform for a business with demanding availability requirements and is strategically evolved to meet new requirements.

The BillerudKorsnäs function for IT and Digital Transformation supports the entire group globally. We are a team of approximately 100 leaders and specialists represented in all our manufacturing sites and geographical locations. We have clear governance and work collaboratively with other parts of our business. We work purposefully to integrate even closer with our business colleagues. To challenge the conventional and to create value is part of who we are.

We are now looking for an Information Manager to be placed at our mill in Skärblacka or at the Head Office in Solna.

Job description

The information manager leads a cross-functional virtual team to manage information and information security across the group. This new position strengthens our organization and capability to strategically treat information as an asset. You will report to the manager of our Digitalization Support Office and works closely with other colleagues across all our business functions and members of the IT and Digital team. The Information Manager is a key member of the BK Architecture forum with special focus on data and information aspects of architecture. As leader of the BK information security efforts, the Information manager will pair up with our Chief Architect, responsible for IT Security, to ensure business needs and demands for information security are met.

In this job we want you to independently, and with high quality, take lead on:

-         Information Management from strategy to practical implementation.

-         Information Architecture management.

-         Making sure that information is made accessible and usable in seamless information flows.

-         Making Master Data Management effective.

-         Evolving BillerudKorsnäs as an information-conscious organization.

-         Making information available for effective analytics.

-         Protecting our information assets.

We believe that you have:

-         A Master degree or other relevant educational background with a 5+ years of experience in a role        as an IT specialist/manager or a consulting role.

-         Excellent verbal, written and communication skills and ability to interact with a global group of IT       and business people. You can both speak and write in English on a professional level.

-         Solid knowledge and experience in Information Management and protection of information assets        and cyber security.

You are:

-         Able to lead informally.

-         Naturally curious, strong in learning and problem solving.

-         Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a changing environment.
