THE ROLE

In the role as Lead Architect at Daniel Wellington you will proactively ensuring the alignment between Daniel Wellington technical capabilities and Daniel Wellington Business needs for example creating a digitalization strategy. You will also taking full ownership for defining and rolling out a global microservice architecture for Daniel Wellington and being the global technical champion within AWS-services, API-design and systems integration. Your biggest responsibility is to ensuring technical coherence between all Daniel Wellington development initiatives. 

You will be creating and maintaining a collaborative, agile and supportive culture within all Daniel Wellington Tech offices.

YOUR PROFILE

Daniel Wellington are looking for you that have:

•         Up-to-date skills and knowledge regarding best practices for large-scale e-commerce platforms
•         At least 3 years work experience as an Architect which includes:

o   Proven competence within AWS-services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Cloudformation, Lamda)

o   Proven track-record of leading technology organizations through complex changes

o   Experience of designing and implementing APIs and System Integrations

•         Basic systems development skills
•         Comfortable working in agile teams using KANBAN/SCRUM-methodologies
•         Understanding and interest for of micro service architectures

And it’s even better if you also have:

•         In-depth experience from retail industry
•         Competence within general IT-security
•         Relevant certificates (AWS/CISSP/TOGAF etc.)
