The role as a Java developer at Symsoft
In this role you will design, develop and maintain functionality in the Symsoft platform and in our applications. You will be a part of the Real-time Charging team and work with the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, testing and documentation. Other parts of the role are to produce documentation such as functional specifications and input to user guides, and to support other departments with technical expertise regarding our technology and products. You will also participate in troubleshooting and problem solving.

In Symsoft’s R&D department they work with the following technologies:

• Java
• TCP/IP, Diameter, SIP, SS7 and a lot of other signaling protocols
• Databases, primarily Oracle DB
• Linus and Solaris
• GIT and Subversion
• Maven
• Continuous integration based on Jenkins

Requirements and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone newly graduated student or someone with 1 - 5 years of experience from system or software design and experience of working with similar, complex technologies. You have an MSc in Computer Technology/Science or similar education. The main language at Symsoft is English so it’s an requirement that you are fluent in English.

As a person you are passionate about software development and enjoy solving complex problems and explaining your thinking to others. You like working in a small self-organized, self-managed, team and in a relaxed and high paced work environment.
