Nordea Products IT, operates within the Nordea Wealth Management organisation. Nordea Products IT are responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining Nordea’s Fund Distribution Platform. 

Nordea Product IT are currently on a transformation journey towards an agile development process. To strengthen the development team and assist in our pursuit to becoming more efficient in all phases of the process, Nordea are now looking for an experienced Java Developer with Agile experience. 

The position

As Senior Java Developer at Nordea, you will join a team of 11 local colleagues and approximately 50 offshore consultants. Nordea work fully integrated with our Business Partner in Product Services as well as with other stakeholders in different units in Nordea. 

In total Nordea have three scrum teams, working closely with the maintenance team on an ongoing basis. Products IT is closely interlinked with the surrounding fund related products within Savings and Wealth Offerings in Wealth Management. 

In this role, you will be a part of one of the scrum teams and work with all tasks that are part of the daily development process. You will be an important player contributing with input regarding best practices and principles ranging from object oriented analysis-, design and implementation to test automation techniques. 

We need you to assist Nordea in reaching the vision of delivering higher quality software in a more efficient way than Nordea do today.

We expect you to have 5+ years’ experience working as Java Developer and hands-on experience from agile way of working in complex environments. You have a university degree in a relevant field and you are fluent in English and Swedish. 

Further to this, we believe that you have experience in: 
◾ Object Oriented Design and Implementation. 
◾ Dependency Injection (Spring, GUICE/GIN). 
◾ TDD/Unit Testing and mocking frameworks etc. (e.g. Mockito, Hamcrest, Junit/TestNG). 
◾ Tools: Maven, distributed version control (GIT), Atlassian products: Stash/BitBucket, build server (Bamboo), JIRA. 
◾ Techniques: Hadoop, RESTful web services, JAX-WS, application servers (Weblogic), GWT.
