Technical Pre-sales – Partner Account Team

Technical Pre-sales – Partner Account Team

You will be part of the Symsoft account team responsible for world-wide indirect partner sales, driving Symsoft sales through partners such as Ericsson and SAP. The account team manages its customer accounts and partners from opportunity lead generation to customer project execution.

Responsibilities

Your role, as technical pre-sales, will be to provide technical leadership to sales prospects and follow, when required, the projects to goal, interacting with the the sales partners’ teams as well as Symsoft Product Management, Services and R&D teams.

You will be participating in the entire sales process where you will be engaged in offer preparations defining technical requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals and offers. You will also be instrumental at customer meetings, negotiations, presentations and workshops. For selected customers and sales opportunities you will have the opportunity to manage a wider scope including everything from offer preparation and technical solution design up to pricing and account management.

It will not only be important to understand but to provide insight (technical and values of offering) and also to challenge the customer requirements.

The team you will be working with are highly motivated and self-going, business minded and extremely business hungry. You will have the opportunity to travel.

Your Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience within the field of data/OTT and telecommunications, particularly related to telecommunication messaging, VAS and BSS.
  • Good understanding and experiences from mobile operator business environments. It is beneficial if you have previous experience working at telecom operators within operations or planning.
  • Minimum 2 years of pre-sales / sales engineering experience in a business-to-business customer segment; or a record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
  • Other languages like Swedish, Spanish and French are beneficial.
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills with an ability to conceptualize the technical and commercial values of our offering.
  • Comfortable taking lead, taking action and strive towards goals.
  • University degree in Engineering.
