TELIASONERA SÖKER EN SENIOR MANAGER – QA (KARLSTAD OR SUNDSVALL)

This reaches through the Nordic, Baltics and International Carrier countries of in TeliaSonera.

TeliaSonera is on an exciting journey, going through a technical transformation and process improvements to meet the demands of tomorrow’s customers. Quality Assurance takes the lead and supports the organization when it comes to these efforts and changes. This means for example moving from a reactive to proactive way of working. It means focusing on automation to improve customers experience to achieve shorter lead times and easier real-time updates for customers online.

Quality Assurance is part of Control Center within Group Technology, Service Assurance & Operations. Technology within TeliaSonera is responsible for networks, technologies and IT, and is the enabler of an excellent customer experience. Technology consists of a group unit and country units and is present in all countries where TeliaSonera has local operations.

The role
In the position you will manage the new unit – Quality Assurance within the Control Center Organization. You will have the exiting responsibility to strategically and operatively secure major improvements and process changes within the unit. Control Center is responsible every hour around the clock to ensure excellent customer experience. They are monitoring and operating the network and service to provide maximum performance and availability for the customers. You will lead the Quality Assurance team, primarily Team Production Managers that develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes. This includes standard, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. The unit also works with quality audits/review, methods, process reengineering, etc.

Further on this team develops and implements projects to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. You will also develop policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve the same.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Drive Control Center Operations development
• Work with transformation and secure quality increase of operation
• Move from reactive to proactive way of working
• Support employee and managers during the transformation journey
• Secure workplace environment and BCP plans
• New skill in management team to support strategy and wanted position
• Secure handover to Service Assurance Control Center from development/delivery and 2nd line
• Close cooperation and follow ups with Control Center interfacing units
• Drive Innovation and LEAN improvements

Background and personal characteristics:
To be successful in this role we see that you have at least 5 years of experience within IT, leadership and change processes. You have extensive business experience and very good understanding of business demands, market trends and customer behavior within the area- preferably from direct interaction with customers. We see that you have considerable experience as line manager with very good abilities in driving change, creating results, and cooperating with others. Preferably with experience from Six Sigma and Lean. You are able to work fluently in English, both written and spoken and we see it as a plus if you have international experience.You have university degree in a relevant field or equivalent education.

As a person you are result oriented and driven with a great capacity to deliver. You have a global interest, curious about new technologies and motivated by change. You are an inspirational person with great relationship- and communication skills. As a leader you are innovative and strategic with the ability to create high performing teams and take full responsibility for the success of your area.

Location: TeliaSonera in Karlstad or Sundsvall

Travel: 1 day/week
