PRODUCT MANAGER LED- AURA LIGHT

Aura Light is continuing its growth within innovative, sustainable and environmentally friendly lightning solutions. We are now looking for a sales- and commercially focused Product Manager to be a part Aura Lights continuing journey and make a footprint within their Luminaire development. With your skilled ear to the market you will translate needs into cutting edge products and solutions and ensure the necessary market- and sales efforts.

As LED Product Manager you will have responsibility for part of the growing range of LED light sources within Aura Light International. You will work closely with customers, product development, sales and marketing functions to ensure the development of Aura Lights LED light source range. This position is very important to the strategic success of Aura Light and an important part of the current team of professionals in Product Management.

The main focus areas for this position:

• Continue upgrades and initiate development of new products and solutions within the LED light source segment
• Work closely with luminaire Product Managers on projects
• Push/drive sales efforts forward within your product segment
• Manage and evaluate the life-cycle of existing products
• Support the subsidiaries in increasing sales of luminaires
• Keep track of standards development and ensure alignment with Aura Light’s product portfolio
• Support sales staff and customers on a technical level
• Co-operate with marketing on technical and marketing collateral
• Manage product development projects and product launches
• Conduct competitor/market environment analysis
• Execute training to customers and sales teams.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have at least 5 years of experience from LED product development or LED component sales. You have a technical knowledge of LED and general lightning knowledge. You have knowledge and experience from product development and the interaction between marketing, sales, customers and production. Further we see that you have good organizational and problem solving skills. Experience in product marketing and project management is a clear advantage. You are fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages are seen as a merit.

You have a relevant educational degree or equivalent experience.

Highly valued personal characteristics are service mindedness and independence. We are looking for a visionary that is organized, target-focused and have the ability to take initiatives. You are sales-oriented, have a good understanding of business operations and building strong customer relations.
Travelling is expected in this role, both to Aura Light’s subsidiaries in Europe and to visit partners.
