About the position
Aura Light is continuing its growth within innovative, sustainable and environmentally friendly lighting solutions. We are now looking for a sales- and commercially focused Product Manager to be a part of Aura Light’s Product Management team. With your skilled ear to the market you will translate customer and market needs into cutting edge products and solutions and ensure the necessary market- and sales efforts.
As Luminaire Product Manager you will have responsibility for part of the growing range of luminaires within Aura Light International, both for conventional light sources and LED. You will work closely with customers, product development, sales and marketing functions to ensure the continued growth of Aura Light’s luminaire range. This position is very important to the strategic success of Aura Light and an important addition to the current team of professionals in Product Management.
The main focus areas for this position:
• Initate development of new products and solutions within the luminaire product segment
• Push/drive sales efforts forward within your product segment
• Support the subsidiaries in increasing sales of luminaires
• Support sales staff and customers on a technical level
• Co-operate with marketing on technical and marketing collateral
• Conduct competitor/market environment analysis
• Execute training to customers and sales teams.
Travelling is expected in this role, both to Aura Light’s subsidiaries in Europe and to visit partners.The position is preferably placed in Stockholm, but other placement is also an option.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have at least 5 years of experience from luminaire- sales or product management. You have a technical interest and understanding in general, especially for luminaires. You have knowledge and experience from product development and the interaction between marketing, sales, customers and production. Good organizational and problem solving skills and experience of project management are an advantage. You are fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages are seen as a merit.
You have a relevant educational degree or equivalent experience.
