Job Summary:

As a Senior Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision and strategy for our Time Flow (Tid & Project) suite of products. You will lead a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. Your expertise in Java and AWS will be crucial in transforming a solid suite of products into a set of robust cloud-based applications, enabling interoperability throughout the wider Milient product ecosystem.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, hands-on development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance applications using Java and AWS services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers, fostering a culture of improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and AWS services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Contribute to the architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning across the european organization through our Tech Guild. 
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud-based environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and AWS.
• Proven experience in leading development teams and driving technical projects to success.
• Deep understanding of Java programming language, frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate), and best practices.
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages and technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR).
