Job Summary

We’re looking for a Product Manager who can bring clarity to ambiguity, drive thoughtful decision-making, and help teams focus on meaningful customer and business outcomes. In this role, you will work closely with Engineering and Design throughout the product development lifecycle — from identifying the right problems to solve, to evaluating whether delivered solutions actually created value.
This is not primarily a backlog administration or delivery coordination role. We are looking for someone who can structure complex problems, make strong trade-offs, and create alignment around clear direction.
You’ll play a key role in helping teams build with confidence, minimize unnecessary rework, and continuously improve product decisions based on real outcomes and learning.
Responsibilities
As a Product Manager at Milient, you will own and drive clarity across the product lifecycle.
You will start by turning customer, commercial, and operational signals into well-defined problems, ensuring we understand who is affected, why it matters, and whether solving it is worth the investment. Together with Engineering and Design, you will explore solution directions and shape what we choose to build.
You will lead product decisions by defining priorities, making trade-offs explicit, and ensuring there is shared understanding of user intent, expected behavior, and measurable success criteria before development begins.
During delivery, you support teams by removing ambiguity, resolving prioritization conflicts, and keeping Product, Engineering, and Design aligned without reopening already made decisions.
After release, you ensure outcomes are clearly communicated and evaluated, using both qualitative and quantitative insights to understand impact and guide next steps. You will continuously improve how we work with product development, including identifying opportunities to automate or remove low-value work.
Qualifications
We believe strong product thinking matters more than perfect alignment on a checklist, but ideally you have:
- 3–4 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience working in SaaS
- Strong ability to make decisions and priorities
- Experience working closely with Engineering and Design teams
- Ability to structure complex or ambiguous problems into clear direction
- Confidence in making trade-offs and saying no when needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to create alignment across teams
- A mindset focused on outcomes and impact over output and activity
- Curiosity, critical thinking, and a drive for continuous improvement
Bonus Qualifications
It’s a plus if you also have experience with:
- Working with the analytics part of an offering
- Working across multiple products or domains
- Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) or outcome-driven product practices
- Product operations, experimentation, or data-informed product development
- Improving workflows, systems, or processes through automation
